2 Kilos Coffee Organic Specialty Single-Source Colombian

Grown at approximately 1400 meters above sea level on the lush hillsides of our centenarian family farm in Quimbaya, Colombia in the heart of the Colombian Coffee Axis, this premium, single source, 100% arabica coffee is picked, peeled, washed and dried on our farm and roasted locally in Quimbaya by expert roasters. Over the past two decades, sustainability has become core to what we do. In that time, we have managed to significantly improve the quality of our coffee by employing ancient techniques like companion planting to help suppress weeds and pests. We now use only natural fertilizers and have invested in top of the line processing equipment to reduce the use of water and electricity. Another core focus is on supporting our workers and the local community, which our family has been an integral part of for over 100 years. In a testament to our drive to improve our methods and production, our coffee has been certified by the Rainforest Alliance and designated a Coffee of Origin by Café Quindio and Juan Valdez. Under the trademark Café Gardenia 1923, the fourth generation of our family has begun exporting our coffee to the United States.
